Attention, Asda shoppers! If you have recently bought certain items from Asda, then you may need to return them for a full refund. Here’s what’s going on and why you should take quick action.
The UK’s biggest supermarket has issued an urgent warning about two products that may be unsafe for your kids. First up, there is the Little Angels 1 Tog Apple Sleeping Bag. This £15 sleeping bag is designed to keep little ones snug as bugs at bedtime, but Asda has announced a recall as the sleeping bag lacks key safety instructions. The problem is that if the parents do not know how to use it properly, it could mean there is a risk of a child overheating while using this product.
The sleeping bags are part of the recall carry the code 05-02-24 and have the following barcodes: 5059198048511. If you have one of these sleeping bags at home, Asda is asking you to take it to any Asda store for a refund. The good news is you don’t have to have a receipt to get your money back. Asda says, “Please bring it back to your nearest store where you will be given a full refund. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused.”.
But wait, there’s more! Asda is also recalling a Boys Octopus Rash Vest and Shorts set. The green and blue swimsuit set for children comes with a hat, top, and shorts. Unfortunately, the above set does not comply with the General Product Safety Regulations 2005 related to sun-safety, meaning that it might not protect your child fully against the sun.
Here are the barcodes for the affected swimwear sets: 505919724473, 505919724475, 505919724477, 505919724479, 505919724501, 505919724503, 505919724505, and 505919724507. “In the event you have purchased this swimsuit set, please return it to your nearest Asda store also. No need for a receipt to avail yourself of a full refund once more.”.
But the latest recalls don’t stop at Asda. Home Bargains is warning its customers over a number of items – including toys, medical products, and even chocolate – which shouldn’t be used. If you’ve bought anything from Home Bargains recently, it might be worth having a look at their recall notices, too.
In short, if you have one of these Asda products, make sure to return them as soon as possible to get your refund. This is all the supermarket is doing to ensure all its customers keep safe and happy. Remember, no receipt is needed; hence, you don’t need to worry about finding it.
Therefore, if any of you or others you know have these products, just pop down to Asda to return them. It’s always better to be safe than sorry, so let’s do it for the safety of our little ones. Thanks a lot for your consideration!
