ABOUT

Danish Khan is a multidisciplinary Product Designer, front end developer, and digital mentor with over eight years of experience in the design industry with the focuses on building high performance products with strong ethical and accessibility foundations. As the founder of Danis Yorker Ltd, he works to remove barriers to entry in the tech industry through practical education and mentorship, supporting a global student network of more than 10,000 learners in UI UX. With a background in engineering and business, Danish approaches design as a disciplined problem solving practice. This led to the creation of several open source tools, including the Tint and Shades Generator, and his most popular project, the AI Color Contrast Checker which incorporates machine learning (ML). The tool automates WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 compliance and addresses real world challenges faced by visually impaired users, improving readability, contrast accuracy, and design consistency. By embedding intelligent suggestions into workflows, he helps teams move beyond basic compliance toward meaningful accessibility. Beyond product development, Danish actively engages with wide student networks across colleges and universities, raising awareness of digital technology and nurturing future leaders. His education and advocacy foster empathy, technical skill, and responsibility among designers and developers. His work is driven by inclusive innovation and a commitment to ensuring that modern SaaS, finance, and digital platforms are usable by visually impaired users and accessible to all.
