Huge honors rarely arrive without an equally massive opportunity to create real, tangible change. Recently, I was selected as a “Her Power Global Ambassador” for Alibaba Global Initiatives (AGI). For me, this isn’t just a title; it is a profound validation of the work I have passionately pursued alongside the incredible women at JB Dondolo. More importantly, it is a launchpad to elevate women leaders to heights they haven’t yet imagined.
Alibaba’s “Her Power Global” program is designed to expand opportunities for women in business globally, providing them with the tools, knowledge, and networks to scale their enterprises. As an ambassador, my mission is to serve as the bridge between this world-class initiative and the brilliant women leaders within our communities.
The Mission: Bridging the Gap for Female Founders
True empowerment doesn’t happen in a vacuum; it requires a structured ecosystem of support, education, and community. In my role as a Her Power Global Ambassador, I am focusing my efforts on three distinct pillars of impact:
- Spreading the Word: We are actively seeking visionary women leaders – founders, CEOs, and C-suite executives across all industries who are ready to take their businesses to the next level.
- Building a Connected Community: Leadership can be lonely, but it doesn’t have to be. I am curating a committed, private community space (via WhatsApp/Telegram) where our cohort can directly connect, collaborate, and support one another through the ups and downs of entrepreneurship.
- Guiding the Journey: I will personally act as a navigator, helping my network seamlessly manage the registration process, track key program milestones, and get timely answers to their questions.
The Vision: Moving the Needle Together
To maximize the impact of this initiative, I have set two ambitious milestones for my ambassadorship, and I need your help to achieve them:
- Enroll 50 Visionary Leaders: My goal is to bring at least 50 qualified women entrepreneurs into the Her Power program, ensuring they get access to Alibaba’s global wealth of digital and business expertise.
- Foster a Thriving Cohort: I am building a focused digital hub for these 50+ women to serve as a mastermind alliance, ensuring no one walks this learning journey alone.
Unlocking these milestones means unlocking a powerhouse ecosystem. When women lift each other up, we don’t just grow individual businesses; we shift entire economic landscapes.
