The aftershocks of ArcTanGent this year were barely done when the festival fired off with a bill destined to create waves. The first bout of announcements for ArcTanGent 2025 promises a delicious taster of what Bristol’s Fernhill Farm can expect for next summer.
Headlining the Friday night show will be Karnivool, which promises to give a special UK performance. In addition, Melvins and reformatted Kylesa, among others, are coming specifically for the UK festival.
Rolo Tomassi, returning for their 20th year in existence, plus the return of BTBAM with a two-set performance featuring all of “Colors”. Fall of Troy are scheduled to perform an entire show in support of their “Doppleganger” release and much more.
That’s just the beginning of the band announcements, and it already boasts diversity: amongst others, DVNE, We Lost The Sea, Adebisi Shank, Alpha Male Tea Party, GosT, Sugar Horse, Inter Arma, Kayo Dot, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Heave Blood & Die, Vessels, As Living Arrows, Burner, Boneflower, Chalk Hands, Drongo, Giant Walker, Maud the Moth, meth, Ni, Papangu, and Tayne.

ArcTanGent organiser James Scarlett was pretty chuffed: “We’re back! This year’s lineup is a treat, with reunions aplenty in the form of Kylesa, Adebisi Shank and Vessels, alongside legendary albums performed in full by The Fall Of Troy, We Lost The Sea, and Between The Buried And Me. Plus, we’re stoked to welcome Melvins and our first-time ATG headliners, Karnivool. ArcTanGent 2025 is shaping up to be an extraordinary event!”

The first instalment of the lineup for ArcTanGent 2025 is an excellent build up to the event. After one mix of well-established names and newcomers, this festival promises not only to be an otherworldly sonic journey but indeed as well one that will leave the ears craving for more.
