Jennifer Lopez has decided to cancel her forthcoming “This is Me… Live” tour, amidst intensifying rumors about tensions in her marriage to Ben Affleck. Lopez announced the cancellation on Friday, May 31, through her official website, citing her desire to “be with her children, family and close friends.” The 54-year-old Grammy winner shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony.

In her heartfelt statement, Lopez expressed deep regret over disappointing her fans. She wrote, “I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”

The tour was set to begin on June 26 in Orlando but had been plagued by poor ticket sales for several months. In March, Lopez had already canceled seven dates, including stops in Cleveland, Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta, Tampa, New Orleans, and Houston, as reported by Variety.

Lopez’s personal life has also been under scrutiny, with allegations of marital strife with Affleck, whom she married in 2022. The couple, who rekindled their romance nearly 20 years after their initial relationship in the early 2000s, have reportedly been living apart and experiencing conflicts.

A source told People earlier this month, “She likes to open her heart to her fans and to the world. He is more introspective and private. This has been difficult day-to-day.” According to an Entertainment Tonight insider, Lopez “has been experiencing ups and downs while processing everything” in her personal life and career. “She has been throwing herself into work, which has always been an outlet for her to stay busy and distracted.”

Despite the alleged turmoil, Lopez and Affleck have been seen attending family events together, including Affleck’s daughter Violet’s high school graduation, where they were photographed holding hands, albeit appearing tense.

In addition to the tour cancellation, there are rumors that Lopez’s upcoming Las Vegas residency might also be at risk due to poor ticket sales. This news adds to the growing list of professional setbacks for Lopez as she navigates her personal and professional challenges.
