The wait was absolutely worth it for Matt LeBlanc’s replication of the iconic, as well as the ROFL Joey Tribbiani scene in F.R.I.E.N.D.S Reunion.
On the set of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Reunion, Joey was being Joey, lunging his way onto the ramp walk while dressed entirely in Chandler Bing’s attire. Remember how, in Season 3’s ‘The One Where No One Is Ready,’ Joey showed up wearing all of Chandler’s (Matthew Perry) clothes because he was mad at him? Joey did the same stunt during The Reunion, demonstrating that certain things never change. But that’s not all.”Could I be wearing any more clothes?” Matt LeBlanc inquired after making a dramatic arrival. The audience and the Internet erupted at that point.
Needless to say, Twitter is obsessed with Matt LeBlanc re-enacting the iconic Joey scene.
During the reunion, Matt LeBlanc also disclosed that he injured his shoulder during filming the same episode, ‘The One Where No One’s Ready,’ after flinging himself into an armchair. “I was just going to jump over the coffee table when I tripped and my legs shot up in the air and my shoulder popped out of the socket,” he explained. We now know why Joy Tribbiani was wearing a sling in the following episode.
