Jon Briggs is an English television, radio presenter and narrator best known for his voice-over work, and particularly as the British voice used by Apple Inc.’s Siri virtual assistant software.

Born on 24 January 1965, Briggs has been a voiceover artist for many years, providing his voice for television, radio, and corporate videos. He has also done work for video games, and has been the voice of many well-known brands, including BT, British Gas, and Sky.

In 2011, Briggs was chosen to be the British voice of Siri, Apple’s virtual assistant software. Briggs was selected from a pool of hundreds of voiceover artists, and his voice was recorded in a studio in London.
