On August 1st, 1997, Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at the Weasley family home in Ottery St. Catchpole. Bill Weasley, the second oldest of the Weasley children, had met Fleur Delacour at the Triwizard Tournament in 1994, where she had been representing the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. The two had been courting for three years before finally deciding to get married.
Fleur Delacour is a half-Veela witch, a race of magical beings known for their beauty and grace. She is the daughter of Apolline Delacour and her late husband, a Muggle dentist. Fleur was raised in France and attended Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, where she was a talented student and a star athlete.
At the Triwizard Tournament, Fleur was chosen to represent Beauxbatons in the competition. She quickly became a fan favorite due to her poise and grace, as well as her strong performance in the tournament. After the tournament, Fleur and Bill began to grow closer, and eventually decided to get married.
The wedding ceremony was a beautiful affair, attended by many of the wizarding world’s most prominent figures. Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger were all in attendance, as were many of the Weasley family’s closest friends. The ceremony was officiated by Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge, and the reception was held in the grounds of the Burrow.
The newlyweds were given a honeymoon trip to Egypt, where they spent two weeks exploring the country and enjoying each other’s company. After their honeymoon, they returned to the Burrow, where they lived for a few years before moving to Shell Cottage in Cornwall.
Fleur and Bill have since had three children together: Victoire, Dominique, and Louis. Fleur has also become a successful businesswoman, owning a successful bakery in Diagon Alley.
Fleur and Bill have been happily married for over twenty years, and are still very much in love. They are a wonderful example of true love and commitment, and have been an inspiration to many.
