Emily Blunt and John Krasinski first met in 2008 at a Los Angeles restaurant, and it was love at first sight. Krasinski, who was then best known for his role on The Office, recalled the moment on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2011, saying, “It’s one of those things where as soon as you meet someone, you kind of know.”
The couple had a whirlwind romance, and less than a year after they met, Krasinski proposed. The two were married in July 2010 in a private ceremony in Como, Italy.
Since then, the couple has gone on to have two daughters, Hazel and Violet, and have starred in several films together, including A Quiet Place and The Hollars. They have also been vocal about their support for each other’s careers, with Blunt saying that Krasinski is her “biggest cheerleader.”
