In this exclusive interview with Influencer Magazine UK, Kassandra opens up about her journey in entertainment, her creative process, community involvement, and ambitious plans for the future.
At just 13 years old, you have achieved so much, from walking the runway at LAFW to building a huge following on Zigazoo. What inspired you to start creating content and pursuing modeling and dance?
I started dancing when I was little, and it made me feel happy and confident. Modeling and creating videos came naturally because I love expressing myself and trying new things.
Your channel “Good Morning With Kassy” has over 228,000 subscribers! What is the most fun part about creating content for that platform, and what kind of topics do you like to cover?
I love creating fun, positive content about dancing, everyday life, dance challenges, GRWM and trying new experiences. I recently went to Vidcon and was able to meet other Zigazoo creators!
You have a strong connection to your Luiseño tribe and volunteer for community events. Why is it so important to you to give back and help others, especially with initiatives like the Thanksgiving dinner donations?
Being part of the Luiseño tribe is a big part of who I am. My family has always taught me that helping others is important. I enjoy volunteering because even small acts of kindness can make someone’s day better.
Being young in the public eye can be challenging. You are an advocate against bullying. What advice would you give to other kids your age who might be dealing with bullying or struggling with self-confidence?
I would tell them talk to someone you trust, like a parent, teacher, or another adult, and don’t be afraid to ask for help. Be kind to yourself! keep doing what you love, and surround yourself with people who support you.
You recently collaborated with Hiphopdreamz as a dancer. Can you tell us about that experience and what it was like working with other professional performers?
It’s always go time with HHD and The Origin. We wrapped up the Ashwin Ganes tour with NFL and NBA appearances. It’s fun to work in a professional environment it’s really helped boost my confidence in performing live!
What is your dream role or collaboration? Are you hoping to do more dancing, more acting, or continue growing your content creation—or maybe all three?
Definitely all three! I want to keep dancing because it’s my biggest passion, but I’d also love to do more acting and continue creating content that inspires and lifts people up. Summer is definitely heating up! I’ll be dancing at the Rams game August 22nd as a backup dancer for my talented friend Kaido Roberts. I just wrapped up a music video for Gabriel Ishmael for his new song FIRE. Which I also helped choreograph on the spot in Hollywood! And I’ll be walking and performing for Drisha’s Closet in October for LAFW. So basically living it up at the moment!
