ABOUT
Hailing from Northern California, Tootsie The Rapper is a rising star whose dynamic presence, bossy bars, and uplifting energy have made her a standout in today’s hip-hop landscape. Her music blends raw honesty with empowerment—offering a sound deeply rooted in self-expression, purpose, and personal growth. Her latest project, the Twin Flames EP with acclaimed lyricist Jon Connor, is a lyrical journey fueled by chemistry and clarity. The smooth single “Are You Down” featuring Nikell Johnson and the impactful “Everybody Woke” lead a seven-track collection that showcases the duo’s undeniable synergy. Tootsie’s signature style—bold punchlines and vibrant flows—continues to earn attention through releases like changes and Virgoing – EP, a collaboration with producer and engineer Gabriel Pearson (aka Mixed by Gabe). In 2017, she joined forces with Ryan Hicks and Ballin’ for Peace to create “How I Ball,” an inspirational anthem featured on her In My Zone album. Her reach has extended beyond the studio, with sync placements on The CW’s All American (“Be Quiet”) and Impact Atlanta Seasons 1 and 2 (“1 & Only”). Her all-female album Changes turned heads with the standout track “The Truth,” which recently hit #1 on the independent UK-based OnlineXBRadio charts. Most recently, Tootsie teamed up with Atlanta producer Smitti Boi for their joint project “Throne Talk”. More than just a title, it’s a declaration of presence and power. As Tootsie puts it: “This isn’t about showing who’s sitting. It’s about the presence that makes the throne matter.” While she paints the picture with her words, Smitti Boi builds the palace around it with sound. Together, they aren’t chasing the crown—they’re showing they already move like royalty. Outside the booth, Tootsie is just as powerful in her most important role: being a full-time mom to two children. Balancing artistry and motherhood, she brings the same dedication and authenticity to her family life that she pours into her music. With a sharp pen, a fearless voice, and a mission-driven approach, Tootsie The Rapper is carving her own lane—one verse at a time.
