Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy: A Romance That Wasn’t Meant To Be
Taylor Swift has had her fair share of relationships over the years, but one of her most memorable was with Robert F. Kennedy’s grandson, Conor Kennedy. The couple dated for a few short months back in 2012, when Swift was 22 and Kennedy was just 18.
At the time, the age difference between the two was a topic of discussion, as it seemed unlikely that the two would be a couple. However, despite the age gap, the two seemed to have a strong connection and were often seen together.
In July of 2012, the couple was spotted at a family gathering at the Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts. The two were seen holding hands and looking very much in love. It was also reported that Swift had met Conor’s mother, Mary Kennedy, and that the two had hit it off.
The couple also made several public appearances together, including attending a movie premiere and attending a benefit for the Special Olympics. They were also seen together at a party for the Fourth of July.
However, the relationship didn’t last long. In October of 2012, the couple announced that they had split. Neither of them commented on the reason for the split, but it was speculated that the age difference was a factor.
Since then, Swift has gone on to date a number of high-profile celebrities, including Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, Harry Styles, Calvin Harris, and Tom Hiddleston. She is currently in a relationship with actor Joe Alwyn.
Conor Kennedy, on the other hand, has kept a much lower profile. He is currently studying at Harvard University and is reportedly still close with his family.
Although Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy’s relationship was short-lived, it is one that many people remember. The unlikely couple did raise a few eyebrows, but they seemed to have a strong connection. Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be and the two eventually went their separate ways.
