OLATOKUNBO IGE has been awarded Woman Entrepreneur of the Year at the Influencer Magazine Awards (E3) on October 25, 2026. The recognition reflects Ige’s transition from more than 25 years of United Nations executive leadership in human rights, disarmament and peacekeeping to a second career as a serial entrepreneur and Venture Studio founder in West Africa.
Following retirement from the United Nations, Ige brought systems thinking, human behaviour analysis and international governance frameworks into entrepreneurship, applying them to build scalable ventures in waste-to-wealth, agritech, edtech and impact investing. That connection between executive experience and venture creation provides a clear foundation for the award: Ige’s entrepreneurial work draws on the disciplines of diplomacy and governance to build businesses across these sectors.
As a Business Angel, Venture Studio Operator and Ecosystem Builder, Ige also works to bridge Togo to global capital and markets. Together, these roles extend Ige’s entrepreneurial focus beyond individual ventures to the ecosystem around them. Congratulations to OLATOKUNBO IGE on the honour of Woman Entrepreneur of the Year.
