This time around, she donated $5 million to the relief efforts against the victims of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. This amount shall bring much relief to the communities affected by the hurricane.
The nation’s leading nonprofit hunger-relief organization, Feeding America, thanked Swift on behalf of the families who will be helped in a statement from CEO Claire Babineaux-Fontenot. “This donation will help rebuild communities and provide critical resources to families affected by hurricanes,” she said.
“We are extremely thankful to Taylor Swift for donating $5 million toward the relief efforts of Hurricanes Helene and Milton,” said Babineaux-Fontenot. “We believe this contribution will breathe renewed life into these communities as they work to rebuild and recover. This aid will assist with providing essential food, clean water, and supplies to those affected by these storms.”
Throughout her career, Swift has proven an extremely philanthropic soul. She donated a million dollars for disaster relief in Tennessee as well as donating $100,000 to the family of a woman who lost her life tragically waiting to pass the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade in her town.

Although downgraded to Category 3, Milton is still a very serious threat to central and southern Florida, specifically in the Tampa Bay area. Weather analysts had already issued warnings that Milton could be the costliest calamity in Florida history that would surpass the damage that Hurricane Ian brought two years ago.
