Lewis Capaldi is heartsick after the split

Well, it looks like heartbreak could be the right omen for Lewis Capaldi to make his next album. Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi has broken up with his girlfriend Ellie MacDowall after staying together for two years.

The couple had seemed inseparable at the Brits last year, but the reality was that it was proving impossible to sustain a relationship because of distance. Ellie is based in Edinburgh, while Lewis is based in London. A source close to the couple said last night: “They had a really great time together, but it got tough due to the distance. It was a very tough decision; they’ve remained pals.”

Coming off a year-long break from music, Capaldi is finally making her way back into the studio, which in itself is exciting. She is already working with genuinely talented songwriters, including one of Mimi Webb’s recent releases and John Legend.

Remember that time Lewis stole the show at Glastonbury, soaking up the sun with friends? We’ve never seen a human look so happy. With his knack for turning heartache into gold, can’t wait to see what he comes up with next.

The Spice Girls fandom is abuzz with Mel B’s light-hearted digs at Geri Horner’s birthday. While Victoria, Emma, and Melanie showered much love in their posts for her, Mel B decided to do things a bit differently. She took jabs at her former bandmate with light-hearted posts on Instagram. From age jokes to light-hearted jibes at their past, Mel B sure knows how to spice up the fun.
