The reactions of the family members to Caitlyn’s newest revelations have deepened an ongoing conversation.
Khloe Kardashian has always been playing the role of the diplomatic sister who would always find a way to steer clear of family drama. In the light of Caitlyn’s new series, she reportedly shared her two cents. Khloe is reported to have inquired why Caitlyn would agree to participate in a series that supposedly projects the family in poor light. As quoted by Khole, “Caitlyn is open and should be able to do whatever it is that Caitlyn wants to do.” However, adding, “it is just strange to me, that she would go on a documentary” that doesn’t tell “a great positive story about us [the Kardashian-Jenner family].” I just know she wouldn’t like that about her.”
The cold war between Caitlyn Jenner, who was once known as Bruce Jenner, and the Kardashians is no secret. Caitlyn was married to Kris Jenner and was a fatherly figure to Kendall and Kylie. But Caitlyn’s decision to turn into a woman turned her relationship with the family upside down. During an interview with Piers Morgan in 2017, Caitlyn reportedly said that she does not communicate with the Kardashians now as she had cut them off and was concentrating on her biological children, that is, Kendall and Kylie. “I don’t talk to the Kardashians anymore. The only ones I am concerned about are Kendall and Kylie. They are my biological kids,” she said.
And with this, Caitlyn’s ever-widening family rift finally broke after she released her memoir, The Secrets of My Life. Caitlyn said in her book that Kris Jenner was already aware of the fact that she wanted to turn into a woman way before. This disclosure became the last straw to already a broken camel’s back. And the games between the two got uglier and messier days by days.
