The question of who is the one true God has been asked for centuries. While many religions have multiple gods, the Bible teaches that there is only one true God. This God is revealed in the Bible as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus upheld Biblical monotheism when he prayed to his Father, “This is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” (John 17:3). This verse makes it clear that there is only one true God, and that Jesus is the one sent by the Father.
The Bible also teaches that the one true God is the Creator of all things. In Genesis 1:1, it says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” This verse makes it clear that God is the Creator of all things, and that he is the one true God.
The Bible also teaches that the one true God is a Trinity. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus commanded his disciples to baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This verse shows that the one true God is made up of three persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The one true God is also revealed in the Old Testament. In Isaiah 43:10-11, it says, “Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me. I, I am the Lord, and besides me there is no savior.” This verse makes it clear that there is only one true God, and that he is the only Savior.
