Are Daughters a Gift from Allah ❤?
Daughters are indeed a gift from Allah. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, “Whoever has three daughters, or three sisters, or two daughters, or two sisters, and he keeps good company with them and fears Allah regarding them, then Paradise is for him.” This hadith of the Prophet (ﷺ) clearly shows the importance of daughters in Islam and how Allah has blessed us with them.
The hadiths of the Prophet (ﷺ) about raising girls are beautiful and amazing. He said, “Whoever brings up two girls until they reach adulthood, he and I will come on the Day of Judgment like this,” and he held his two fingers together to illustrate. He also said, “Whoever takes care of two girls until they reach adulthood, he and I will be like this in Paradise,” and he held his two fingers together to illustrate.
It is clear that Allah has given us daughters as a great blessing. He has given us the opportunity to raise them in a way that will bring us closer to Him and earn us a place in Paradise. Allah has also commanded us to treat our daughters with kindness and mercy. He said, “And We have enjoined on man (to be good) to his parents: in travail upon travail did his mother bear him, and in years twain was his weaning: (hear the command), “Show gratitude to Me and to thy parents: to Me is (thy final) Goal.” (Quran 31:14)
Unfortunately, many people do not have the blessing of daughters. This is due to various reasons, such as infertility, miscarriages, and stillbirths. But even those who do not have daughters can still earn the reward of Paradise by taking care of other people’s daughters. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Whoever takes care of a girl until she reaches adulthood, Allah will give him a reward equal to that of one who has a daughter.”
It is clear that daughters are a great blessing from Allah. They bring joy and happiness to the family and are a source of great reward in the Hereafter. Allah has commanded us to treat our daughters with kindness and mercy, and to take care of them until they reach adulthood. Those who do not have daughters can still earn the reward of Paradise by taking care of other people’s daughters. Daughters are indeed a gift from Allah, and we should be thankful for them.
