Zuckerberg Accepts Musk’s Cage Fight Challenge: Meta Founder vs. Twitter Owner

In a surprising turn of events, Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, recently took to the platform to express his willingness to engage in a cage match with Mark Zuckerberg, the Founder and CEO of Meta.

The exchange began when Musk responded to a tweet discussing Meta’s plans to launch a Twitter competitor. Musk commented, “I’m sure Earth can’t wait to be exclusively under Zuck’s thumb with no other options. At least it will be ‘sane.’ Was worried there for a moment.”

In response, a Twitter user jokingly warned Musk about Zuckerberg’s newly acquired jujitsu skills. Seizing the opportunity, Musk replied, “I’m up for a cage match if he is lol.”

Zuckerberg, undeterred by Musk’s challenge, took to his Instagram story the following day, sharing a screenshot of Musk’s tweet with the caption, “send me location.” The Meta CEO’s response quickly gained attention, and a Twitter user shared a screenshot of Zuckerberg’s story, prompting Musk to respond, “If this is for real, I will do it.”

The potential face-off between the tech moguls generated excitement among their respective followers, with Musk expressing his amusement by stating, “This would be hilarious,” in response to a user who mentioned the cage fight.

This recent exchange adds to the history of playful jabs between Musk and Zuckerberg. Earlier this month, Musk had playfully posted, “Zuck my tongue emoji,” on Twitter. Additionally, in March, Musk had mocked Meta for its plans to release a Twitter-like social media application, referring to it as a “copy cat.”

The rivalry between the two CEOs can be traced back to 2017 when Musk criticized Zuckerberg’s understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), describing it as “limited.”

As the conversation surrounding the potential cage match continues, the tech world eagerly awaits to see if the friendly banter between Zuckerberg and Musk will materialize into a physical showdown.
