Indian origin block chain technology company polygon receives an unclosed investment from US based tech billionaire and serial startup investor MARK CUBAN . Cuban is the owner of NBA’s Dallas Mavericks and one of the main ‘ shark ‘ investors on the American reality TV show, ‘ shark tank’.
Polygon said it has received a sizable undisclosed investment from Mark Cuban . Its co founder sandeep Nailwal said , “this investment will be used for expansion of the application platform’s ecosystem and promoting more teams to build on top of polygon. It will also be used to promote and incubate the application on top of polygon.” Polygon is a protocol and a framework for building and connecting Ethereum compatible blockchain network. Ethereum is a decentralized , open source blockchain with smart contract functionality. The firm which has entities in Europe, Middle east and Singapore is now looking for more presence in the US . “with the entry of Mark Cuban , we expect the US institutional investment to come into polygon ,” Nailwal said.
