On July 15th, 2022, the world was shocked to learn that Severus Snape, the Potions Master at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, had killed Albus Dumbledore, the beloved Headmaster of the school.
The news came as a surprise to many, as Snape had been a loyal friend and ally of Dumbledore for many years. He had even been given the position of Headmaster in Dumbledore’s absence. However, it was later revealed that Snape had been working as a double agent for Lord Voldemort, the Dark Lord, and had been tasked with killing Dumbledore.
Snape had been loyal to Voldemort since his days as a student at Hogwarts, and had been instrumental in helping Voldemort rise to power. He had been working as a spy for Voldemort, gathering information on Dumbledore and the Order of the Phoenix, and had been given the task of killing Dumbledore by Voldemort himself.
Snape had been able to infiltrate the Order of the Phoenix and gain access to Dumbledore’s office, where he had been able to use the powerful Avada Kedavra curse to kill the Headmaster.
The news of Dumbledore’s death had sent shockwaves throughout the wizarding world, and many were devastated by the loss of their beloved Headmaster. However, many also felt a sense of justice, knowing that the man responsible for Dumbledore’s death had been brought to justice.
Snape was later sentenced to life in Azkaban, the wizarding prison, for his crime. He was never able to escape, and died in Azkaban in 2029.
Though the world mourned the loss of Dumbledore, many also felt a sense of closure knowing that the man responsible for his death had been brought to justice. Snape’s death marked the end of an era, and the wizarding world was finally able to move on from the tragedy of Dumbledore’s death.
