Emma Watson has been notoriously private about her love life, but in May 2021, rumors began to swirl that the Harry Potter star was engaged to her boyfriend of over one year, Leo Robinton.
The Daily Mail reported that Watson and Robinton were spotted out together on May 13, 2021, and speculation began that the two were engaged. Watson was seen wearing a gold band on her ring finger, which sparked further speculation that the two had taken their relationship to the next level.
Little is known about Robinton, as Watson has kept his identity out of the public eye. He is reportedly a tech entrepreneur and a Los Angeles native. The two were first spotted together in October 2019, and have been spotted out together on multiple occasions since then.
Watson has been vocal about her desire to keep her private life out of the public eye, and has been vocal about her desire to keep her relationships private. In a 2017 interview with Vanity Fair, Watson said, “I want to be consistent: I can’t talk about my boyfriend in an interview and then expect people not to take paparazzi pictures of me walking around outside my home. You can’t have it both ways.”
