Musk is also the co-founder and former chairman of SolarCity, co-founder of Zip2, and founder of X.com, which later became PayPal.
Musk is the father of five sons, all of whom he shares with his ex-wife, Canadian author Justine Wilson. The oldest of Musk’s five sons is Nevada Alexander Musk, who was born on May 4, 2002. Nevada was named after the state in which he was conceived, as Musk and Wilson were on a road trip through Nevada at the time.
Nevada is the oldest of Musk’s five sons, followed by twins Griffin and Xavier, born in 2004, and triplets Damian, Saxon, and Kai, born in 2006. Nevada is the only one of Musk’s sons to have been born before his parents’ marriage in 2000.
