Titled “Live to Lead,” the series will explore Mandela’s journey and the values he embodied, such as courage, resilience, and compassion. It will feature conversations with world leaders, activists, and celebrities, as well as stories from people around the world who have been inspired by Mandela’s legacy.
The series will be produced by Harry and Meghan’s production company, Archewell Productions, in partnership with the Nelson Mandela Foundation. It will be available to stream on Netflix in 2022.
In a statement, Harry and Meghan said they were “incredibly proud” to be working on the project. “Nelson Mandela’s life was a true testament to courage, resilience, and hope,” they said. “We are honoured to be able to bring his story to life and to share his extraordinary legacy with the world.”
The series is the latest in a string of projects from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. In addition to their work with Netflix, they have also signed a deal with Spotify to produce podcasts and audio content. They have also launched a website for their charity, Archewell, which will focus on “building compassionate communities” and “creating a more equitable world.”
