Transferring to a new iPhone can be a daunting task, but it doesn’t have to be. With the right steps, you can easily transfer all of your important data from your old device to your new one.
Your photos, contacts, videos, message history, music, calendars, mail accounts, and many of your apps can all be transferred from your previous device to the new one. We’ve outlined the steps below.
First, make sure your old device is backed up. This will ensure that all of your data is saved and can be transferred to your new device. To back up your old device, open the Settings app and tap on iCloud. Then, select “Back Up Now” and wait for the process to complete.
Once your old device is backed up, you can begin transferring your data to your new device. To do this, turn on your new device and follow the on-screen instructions to set it up. When prompted, select “Restore from iCloud Backup” and enter your Apple ID and password.
Your new device will then begin restoring from the backup of your old device. This process may take some time, so be patient. Once it’s complete, you’ll have all of your data on your new device.
If you’re using an iPhone with an eSIM, you’ll need to transfer your cellular plan as well. To do this, open the Settings app and tap on Cellular. Then, select “Add Cellular Plan” and follow the on-screen instructions to transfer your plan.
