What Did Wizards Do Before Toilets?
Before the invention of toilets, witches and wizards had to find other ways to relieve themselves. This was especially true before the eighteenth century, when Muggle plumbing methods were adopted. During this time, witches and wizards simply relieved themselves wherever they stood, and then vanished the evidence.
This method of relieving oneself was not only used by witches and wizards, but by Muggles as well. In fact, it was a common practice for people of all ages and backgrounds. In some cases, people would use chamber pots, which were portable containers that could be used to store waste and then disposed of later.
However, this method of relieving oneself was not without its drawbacks. For one, it was not very sanitary, as waste was often left in public areas or in the open air. Additionally, it was not very discreet, as the smell of waste could easily be detected by passersby.
Despite these drawbacks, this method of relieving oneself was still widely used by witches and wizards until the eighteenth century. It was only when Muggle plumbing methods were adopted that witches and wizards began to use toilets.
Today, toilets are a common fixture in the homes of witches and wizards, just as they are in the homes of Muggles. However, it is important to remember that this was not always the case. Before the eighteenth century, witches and wizards simply relieved themselves wherever they stood, and then vanished the evidence.
