I am Vikas Shrivastava, a seasoned software professional with over 18 years of global IT industry experience. I have extensively worked with top-tier banks, including HSBC, Bank of New York Mellon, and Deutsche Bank. Currently, I am based in London, working with Deutsche Bank, where I lead the network policy automation project and develop a tool based on niche technical stack to validate secure firewall connections to the GCP cloud from external sources. During my time at BNY Mellon, I led the client onboarding program for the corporate trust department. I served as both architect and technical lead, developing an automated workflow project to manage the entire lifecycle of deals, from onboarding to closure. Before that, at HSBC, I worked as a senior developer, contributing to the development of a financial control reporting project and a global insurance product. I earned a Master’s degree in Data Science with distinction from the University of Essex, Colchester. In the past I completed my undergraduate degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Devi Ahilya University, Indore, graduating with first division honours.
