ABOUT
Muhammad Hamza Tariq is a British-based AI and Digital Optimisation Researcher, entrepreneur, and sustainability innovator specializing in machine learning, digital twins, and industrial decarbonisation. Holding a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Punjab in Lahore and an MSc in Supply Chain Management from the University of Worcester, his research focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence and digital technologies to accelerate Net Zero transformation across UK industrial supply chains. He is the founder of ChainscopeAI, an AI-powered carbon management platform designed to help SMEs automate emissions tracking, SECR compliance, and sustainability reporting using machine learning and live UK carbon intensity data. His peer-reviewed work has been presented at IEEE-affiliated international conferences covering green hydrogen optimisation, digital supply chain systems, and sustainable energy production. Beyond research and product innovation, Tariq contributes to social impact initiatives as an AI literacy facilitator with Global Innovation Hub, delivering digital skills workshops to underserved communities across the United Kingdom. His work has also been associated with international sustainability and engineering initiatives, including ClimateLaunchpad and nominations connected to the IET Achievement Medals.
