Lola Owolabi, FRSA, FInstLM, MA, is an internationally recognized transformational leader, executive coach, and empowerment advocate with over 16 years of experience in leadership development, entrepreneurship, and personal transformation. With a Master’s degree in Coaching from Warwick University and fellowships at the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) and the Institute of Leadership and Management (FInstLM), she has built a reputation as a thought leader in coaching, leadership, and innovation. Her role as Coach in Residence at York St John University further cements her expertise in curriculum development and leadership mentoring.

As the Founder and Director of Proudtobeme, Lola has dedicated her career to empowering women, youth, and underrepresented communities through transformative programs that foster confidence, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills. She has also led initiatives such as the Ebony Business Network, Women of Destiny, and Make That Move Coaching Services, providing platforms for individuals to overcome barriers and achieve personal and professional growth. Her advisory work with organizations like The Pink Shoe Club (now Savvitas) and the Global Women Inventors and Innovators Network (GWIIN) underscores her influence in female empowerment and business development.

Beyond coaching, Lola has made a significant impact in the creative industry as the Founder and Creative Director of The Wearable Art Collective, offering African designers a global stage at events like London Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week. She also spearheads the Empower Tours Project, a series of coaching and wellness retreats in destinations such as Morocco, Thailand, and Jamaica, helping women cultivate resilience, leadership, and self-reflection through transformative experiences.

A celebrated author and international speaker, Lola has inspired audiences worldwide through her book If She Can, So Can You and her signature philosophies: “If She Can, So Can You” and “Think it, See it, Live it.” Her leadership extends into governance as a Local Parish Councillor and Community Governor, and her commitment to justice is reflected in her role as Chairman of the Criminal and Family Courts of the Thames Valley Area.
