ABOUT

Enrique Acosta Gonzalez is an American executive leadership coach, author, podcast host, and retired United States Navy senior enlisted leader. After serving 26 years in the U.S. Navy’s Meteorology and Oceanography Command, he founded Triad Leadership Solutions, where he coaches senior executives and organizational leaders on leadership, decision-making, communication, and high-performance team development. A Certified Master Forecaster with expertise spanning surface, aviation, anti-submarine warfare, special operations, and hydrography, Gonzalez served aboard multiple naval and Coast Guard vessels and held Command Senior Enlisted Leader positions across three commands. His military service included deployments throughout the Pacific, Atlantic, Mediterranean, and South America, shaping his leadership philosophy around operational excellence, resilience, and service.

Beyond coaching, Gonzalez is the CEO of VFR Publishing, a bestselling author, and an award-winning podcast host recognized for his contributions to leadership and professional development. He hosts the Developing The Leader Within Podcast and the American Valor Podcast, and previously co-hosted The Leadership Void Podcast, focusing on leadership, military transition, and entrepreneurship. He serves on the boards and advisory councils of several leadership-focused organizations, including the Global Chamber of Business Leaders and The Leadership Crucible Foundation. His academic credentials include leadership and entrepreneurship certificates from Harvard University, Texas A&M University, the University of Central Florida, and Syracuse University, alongside a bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences from Thomas Edison State University. His professional honors include the Oceanographer of the Navy John Dungan Jr. Award, the Arnold Fletcher Award, the Top 10 Veterati Mentors Award, Excellence in Federal Government Mentor of the Year, and recognition for his contributions to leadership, mentoring, and the podcasting community.
