ABOUT
Dōmo Jones is a dynamic disability advocate, entrepreneur, author, and speaker who has transformed personal adversity into a powerful platform for empowerment. After navigating two brain surgeries, six years of chemotherapy, and five weeks of radiation, Dōmo emerged with a mission to challenge and change the narrative surrounding disability. Living with a condition that requires the use of a walker and leg braces for balance, she became a Master Certified Disability Confidence Coach, using her lived experiences to motivate others to break societal stigmas and thrive beyond limitations. Her influence has reached many through her work as a 6x self-published author and the trailblazing host of One Billion Brave—the first disability talk show hosted by someone with a disability, launched in August 2021.
Dōmo is also a multi-faceted businesswoman with ventures designed to uplift and support underrepresented communities. Her company KnuYou Services equips new small businesses with essential brand-building tools to promote themselves globally, while her apparel brand The Salve Society boldly celebrates the strength and identity of the Disabled Community. Through every endeavor, Dōmo’s message remains clear: never underestimate those living with disabilities. Her relentless spirit and vibrant purpose remind the world that limitations are no match for passion, perseverance, and purpose in action.
