He launched CanFlix—Canada’s early answer to Netflix—and then NavNet, a pioneering tech stack that let people control their homes before Alexa existed. Later, with Ambyint, he brought bleeding-edge AI and IIoT to the oil patch, modernizing an aging industry with real-time intelligence.

Nav doesn’t do “maintenance mode.” He thrives in zero-to-one environments—questioning assumptions, moving fast, and scaling quickly. As Head of Technology at ATB Ventures, he led groundbreaking work in digital identity, creating a self-sovereign identity platform now used in Canada’s National Digital Trust Sandbox.
