Kylie Jenner Speaks Candidly About Timothée Chalamet’s Films, Names Her Favourite and Reveals She Has Watched Wonka Seven Times

Something about listening to an enthusiasm-filled conversation about a person one loves is sincerely disarming, and that is just what Kylie Jenner did in a recent interview where she gave a candid talk about her relationship with actor Timothée Chalamet and more importantly her admiration of his work on-screen. In a culture where celebrity marriages are constantly examined, analysed and theorised, simple innocent love just seems to shine. And this was one of them.Jenner said the comments in the first episode of the podcast of Kid Cudi, which was a broad-ranging interview where she discussed her work in music, her upcoming film release in The Moment, and the more personal aspect of her relationship with Chalamet, who she has now been dating more than two years.

The podcast appearance in itself was quite noteworthy, considering how much Jenner usually protects the intimate aspects of her life, yet, when the discussion shifted to the movies of Chalamet, she was not afraid. When questioned on her favourite movies of her partner, Jenner took a moment to reply that she had a hard time selecting the films. That is difficult to me because I truly like them all, but Call Me by Your Name is very close to perfection because it was the first film that made the announcement of Chalamet as an actor who is one of the most captivating young men of his generation.

The film is based on the novel bearing the same title by Andre Aciman, and Chalamet received a nomination at the Academy Awards in the Best Actor category at the very young age of twenty-two, becoming the third youngest nominee in the category in the history of Oscar nominations. To select it as a pretty perfect, such is a choice which is not without a wide critical opinion, but to say it so affectionately is an entirely other thing. She did not end at that. Jenner also told that she has seen the 2023 film Wonka, a musical fantasy film in which Chalamet plays a young Willy Wonka, around seven times.

That figure is worth stopping and thinking over, not because it is astonishing that one should view a film over and over again, but because it is something like wholly and even joyful involvement with the work of her partner that is far more than polite encouragement. Wonka had become a major commercial hit, making more than 600 million dollars at the box office around the world, and the performance of Chalamet received universal recognition with its physical attractiveness, musical assurance, and emotional appeal. It was a break with the more dramatic, intellectual roles that had characterized much of his previous career, and that it is obviously a movie Jenner is happy to go back to, speaks volumes both about the film and the man himself. She also had a passion for the Dune franchise saying merely, “And I really love the Dune films.

Chalamet plays Paul Atreides in a vast adaptation of the science fiction epic of Frank Herbert by Denis Villeneuve that requires him to use a different voice than any other role in his life. Where Call Me by Your Name needed to be interior and emotionally vulnerable, and Wonka demanded lightness and theatrical spectacle, Dune asks its star to bear the burden of an entire mythology across several movies. Dune: Messiah is the third instalment that is being developed, and the persistence of Chalamet in the franchise has left him at the centre of some of the most ambitious filmmaking in modern Hollywood. The initial stirring of public interest as a couple came later in 2023, when Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet started dating, and since then, the couple has been enjoying the privacy of their relationship that is rather uncharacteristic of their profiles.

A world-famous reality TV show star of the Keeping up with the Kardashians series and the founder of one of the most lucrative beauty brands globally, Kylie Cosmetics, Jenner is used to living much of her life in the limelight. Chalamet, in his turn, has never really been much more open about his personal life, allowing his work to speak louder, as well as keeping the information about his relationships mostly out of the press.
