ABOUT

Valeriya Kovbuz is a Mental Well-Being Coach working in the field of Transactional Analysis. She helps individuals restore inner balance, build self-worth, and navigate emotional challenges through clarity, structure, and deep emotional insight. With a background in psychology and special education, she combines scientific knowledge with a warm, human-centered approach. She is the creator of the TREE of Balance Method — a visual and reflective model that integrates ego-state theory, inner dynamics, and systems thinking. This original framework helps individuals reconnect with themselves, observe which parts of their inner world are more or less active, and gently explore where their energy, strength, and needs are concentrated. It is widely used in coaching and group work to foster inner clarity and sustainable self-connection. In addition to her practice, she writes scientific articles and research papers on psychological well-being and the role of coaching in mental health support. She is also the author of a regular newspaper column, where she offers everyday, actionable tips for emotional self-care and mental balance — making psychology accessible, practical, and deeply human. She is a graduate of The Science of Well-Being course from Yale University, which further informs her evidence-based approach to mental wellness. A regular speaker on international platforms and a peer reviewer for academic journals, she is also an active member of the International Transactional Analysis Association (ITAA), North America Transactional Analysis Association (NATAA), European Association of Transactional Analysis (EATA), Ukrainian Association of Transactional Analysis (UATA), International Coach Federation South Florida (ICF SFL), and National Psychological Association of Ukraine (NPA).
