Adele had been in the process of renovating her $58 million Beverly Hills mansion when she recently let slip an astonishing turn her plans had taken. The 36-year-old singer, who is on partial hiatus from the music world, is turning her Los Angeles abode into one that lets the outdoors in with both arms.
During a recent performance at her Munich concert, Adele had the chance to share with the audience her exciting new project: “I have these shows, and then I have my shows in Vegas in October and November,” she begins, hinting at her plans to take a break from her music schedule.
Adele-hot due to her hit singles “Skyfall” and “Hello”-shared how unexpected it is that her family is growing. “I have three dogs and a cat at the moment, my son wants to get a lizard, but I know that I’m going to have to end up looking after it,” she said, laughing. She said, “So I am going to foster a lizard for a while just so I can get used to it, and then I’m sure we’ll be best friends.”
In addition to her plans with lizards, Adele said she is further looking forward to expanding her animal family: “I want to get some chickens,” she gushed. The vision in her property will not only have a number of animals but also a place to be connected with nature and those who supported her through her career.
The singer had just announced that she was taking time off from touring after wrapping her Las Vegas residency in November. This new project is a far cry from her current chaotic life that she intends to submerge herself into calm and rustic living.
It’s symbolic of the way Adele has been living her life, turning her Beverly Hills mansion into a farm-fusing the love of nature with the desire to be closer to the ground. While she may be taking this time off from the spotlight, her fans will have something to look forward to with how this uniquely new chapter will develop.
