Rihanna’s Unforgettable Encounter at a Manchester City Match

Irrepressible Rihanna has become the star of a recent match of Manchester City, in which AC Milan participated in New York.

The singer and cosmetics mogul sat courtside at Yankee Stadium on July 27 in support of her latest Fenty collaboration with Puma. In between cheering for both teams, she took some time to take photos with Manchester City’s Jack Grealish and AC Milan’s Christian Pulisic and Yunus Musah.

In what must have been a pleasant surprise for her, a young fan dressed in the jersey of an Italian football club side approached Rihanna and requested that she take a photograph of him with the players. She immediately obliged, giving him directions and organizing the group – consisting of him and two other children – then took the picture from an armchair.

Ironically, the child seemed to be less star-struck by Rihanna than American actress Natalie Portman, who revealed one time that she was a formative moment in her life” by meeting the ‘Diamonds’ singer. Portman told her story at the Sun, where she informed how elevating it was SUN.

In the past years, Rihanna has been running her successful Fenty Beauty brand, letting music float on the back burner unless there is a notable Super Bowl performance last year. Fans are eagerly waiting for a new album by the singer, since her last piece, ‘Anti,’ was released back in 2016. Rihanna hinted at new music in a DM to GloRilla, which came in due to the anticipation surrounding her next album. She confirmed that her next full-length, tentatively entitled ‘R9,’ will represent a shift in her musical direction, although she’s still working to perfect it
In April, Rihanna said that she had “art which can make hits,” but most recently she explained as to why her ninth record is taking long, saying that she’s “starting over” and “rediscovering” where to find ‘R9s’ direction.
