The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took to social media to post a charming snapshot of their little one on his special day.
“Happy 6th Birthday, Prince Louis! 🎂 Thank you for all the kind wishes today,” they captioned the image, which depicts Louis lying on a picnic blanket in the grass, flashing a bright smile.
The photo, captured by the Duchess herself, follows a recent controversy where she faced criticism for editing an image of her and her children shared on UK Mother’s Day last month.
Despite the challenges faced by the family in recent months, including the passing of Prince Philip, the proud parents are ensuring that Louis’ birthday is celebrated with a “private party,” as reported by The Post.
The royal couple is determined to make Louis’ special day “as normal and as enjoyable” as possible, given the circumstances.
Kate Middleton is currently in the thick of her cancer treatment following her diagnosis.In March, she revealed that she’s undergoing chemotherapy to treat her cancer. Also, Charles had revealed his cancer diagnosis in February.
