Brainsparker founder brings a human-centered leadership perspective to global conversations about the future of AI.
Gabriella Goddard, Founder of Brainsparker Ltd and creator of the AI Catalyst Leader program, has been invited to become an official member of the Senior Executive AI Think Tank, joining senior AI leaders, founders and experts from around the world.
The Senior Executive AI Think Tank is a criteria-based membership community bringing together senior leaders shaping the use of AI across industries. Members exchange expertise and practical insights on some of the most pressing challenges surrounding enterprise AI, from adoption and governance to strategy, transformation and business value.
Goddard brings more than 20 years of experience in executive coaching, leadership development and innovation, alongside first-hand experience of adopting and developing AI within her own business.
Her journey into AI began by developing and personally training Brainsparker’s AI Creativity Coach and exploring how to transform Brainsparker into an AI-first business. But while working with leaders on organizational and culture change, she began to see a bigger challenge emerging.
As organizations rapidly adopted AI tools, she saw a growing gap between AI adoption and leadership capability. Without the confidence and understanding to lead through the transformation, leaders themselves risk becoming a bottleneck to successful AI adoption.
This insight led Goddard to develop the AI Catalyst Leader program, which helps leaders build the knowledge, confidence, and human capabilities needed to lead effectively as AI reshapes the workplace.
“The biggest potential bottleneck with AI transformation is not the technology; it’s the leadership layer,” said Goddard. “Leaders are being asked to navigate a transformation for which there is no real precedent. They need enough understanding of AI to make informed decisions, but they also need the judgment, strategic thinking and confidence to decide how it should be used responsibly within their organizations.”
Central to Goddard’s approach is challenging the idea that AI’s primary value lies in reducing costs and headcount.
Her own experience of building an AI-first business has led to a different philosophy: automate to innovate.
“AI can absolutely help us work faster and remove repetitive work, but I don’t believe efficiency should be the finish line,” Goddard said. “The bigger opportunity is what we do with the capacity AI gives back to us. We can reinvest that time and headspace into thinking more creatively, innovating, solving more complex problems, and building stronger human relationships. That’s where I believe the real human dividend of AI lies.”
Goddard says this human-centered perspective is what she hopes to contribute to the Senior Executive AI Think Tank.
“I’m delighted to join senior leaders, founders and experts from around the world and contribute to this important conversation. We need to talk about more than what AI can do. We also need to explore what AI means for leadership, how we develop the capabilities people will need next, and how we ensure AI amplifies human potential rather than simply replacing human activity.”
Through the Think Tank, Goddard will contribute her perspectives on AI leadership, organizational adoption, human capability, and responsible transformation alongside other practitioners shaping the future of AI.
