Recently, the ever-popular “Anyone but You” star, Glen Powell, is the center of an uncomfortable fan encounter that is more than just a regular stumble upon. The actor recently posted about a woman who has been printing his pictures and eating them on the spot, every day. Powell said that she would only agree to quit if he lets her play a part in one of his movies. What was once bizarre has now become alarming, particularly since the actor discovered a woman had managed to get close to the family photos, which weren’t meant to be publicized, and appear on red carpets.
Powell talked about the experience during a round table interview with The Hollywood Reporter. He said that his team told him about the photographs and what it meant to eat them but he had no idea about it at the time. “There’s a woman in London who has been printing out pictures of my face for the last 80 days and has eaten my face every day. Literally will eat my face until I give her a role in a movie,” he said. This was originally something they seemed to have thought up for the internet, but it soon became a real worry. The actor said that he was on a red carpet when an employee of his said to him, “That’s the same woman at the event”. He said, “I didn’t know this way of life until someone told me about it on the red carpet, saying, ‘Hey, the girl that eats your face is on the red carpet.’

Powell at the time asked what they were talking about and when actor Zach Braff asked how the TikTok creator got inside these private events, Powell said he was “doubling down” on his concern. “That’s where I was in my case,” he recalled, ““Guys, come on, this is a real liability.”” The actor felt like he had a realization that he was experiencing as he watched the absurdity of the situation and at the same time the danger. If you’ve been following his journey over the last few years, you know quite well that Powell’s profile has skyrocketed. This visibility has a darker side of which a lot of fans are unaware.
Powell likely handled the situation as lighthearted as he could do in front of the camera, but he says that it has had an effect on him personally. The outlet added: “His profile has grown immensely over the past two years, and that means a level of obsession that can be very frightening.” This is a fact of life for a lot of public personalities, particularly once they attain a uniterimental fame as the star of hits such as romantic comedies and action movies. Admiration can easily turn into hazard. What made this case so creepy is that the woman persisted and showed up where Powell went. In June 2025 she started her online challenge, and by November, she had met him on a carpet. A video from that encounter shows Powell signing a photo for her, after which she took a bite of it. He looked directly into the lens and said, “This is savage,” and captured on film.
It’s more than a headline to Glen Powell. It actually is a disruption of life that poses some difficult questions as to how fans act, how security acts and what it means for celebrities to do when an adoration becomes an addiction. The actor’s openness about the experience may help people in similar situations feel less alone, on the one hand.On the other hand, the actor may help other people who are experiencing the same thing by sharing their experience openly. But paying attention to the person behind the stunt, rather than focusing on the stunt itself, might also inadvertently reward additional stunts. There’s no simple answer. Some say that they should be ignored completely; that way, such people are not rewarded. Others, on the other hand, feel a frank conversation about what stalking is and its seriousness will help to get improved protection measures and more severe punishment.
