Totally Free Music Artist Support at IN-TUNE.BLOG While Passing on AI Artists

Brian Jones

Kristina R. (Influencer UK – Editorial Team): Brian, thanks for taking the time to chat with us. First off, what makes IN-TUNE.BLOG different from big-name blogs like Earmilk, Pitchfork, or Rolling Stone?

Brian Jones: Thanks for having me. First and foremost, IN-TUNE.BLOG is 100 percent totally free. We do not charge artists for coverage because we believe real music opportunities should never require payment upfront. If someone is asking for your money, slow down and be very careful. That advice applies to promoters of any kind, but it is especially important when it comes to music blogs. Paying for placement often prioritizes visibility over value, turning coverage into a transaction instead of a genuine endorsement.

When money changes hands, the spotlight is no longer earned by creativity or originality, but by budget size. Music fans can sense when coverage feels forced or promotional, which weakens trust and engagement. Free blogs like ours feature music because we genuinely believe in it, not because we were paid. That authenticity creates meaningful exposure, stronger listener connections, and coverage that feels earned rather than bought.

Independent blogs are also more invested in the long-term growth of artists. We actively share, revisit, and champion the artists we feature. Instead of one paid article that disappears in a crowded feed, we build relationships, offer thoughtful commentary, and help artists grow organically. If someone has been on IN-TUNE.BLOG before, we always try to support them when we have the time, so if you have a new release or something important, just let us know.

Kristina R. (Influencer UK – Editorial Team): That makes sense. So why does IN-TUNE.BLOG choose not to publish AI-generated artists?

Brian Jones: For us, music is about human expression. Real artists share more than just their songs. They spend years practicing their voice or instrument, load tour buses, set up and break down at three in the morning, travel to a cheap motel, and repeat it all over again the next day. The moment a bass string snaps in the middle of a performance or a mic stand drops, they keep going. Those struggles, that grit, and that perseverance are what shape their music and build the community around them. AI-generated artists do not share these experiences. They do not contribute to the music community in the same way, and that is why we exclude them from our blog. We want to celebrate the people living this life and creating music with all the effort and passion it takes.

Kristina R. (Influencer UK – Editorial Team): Finally, how does IN-TUNE.BLOG continue to support artists after they have been featured on the blog?

Brian Jones: Featuring an artist is just the beginning. We continue to support them in many ways. For example, we include our artists on the Nashville to LA Spotify playlist, which helps their music reach a wider audience. We also run a micro interview series on Instagram called “The Hot Seat”, where artists answer five random questions on video, giving fans a glimpse of their personal side.

We love promoting new releases from artists who have appeared on our blog and do our best to support them whenever we can. Our focus is on keeping music alive and helping artists connect with audiences in meaningful ways. Our tagline says it all, Where Sound Meets Story. We believe in our artists and their stories. There is no profit motive; this is simply our way of paying it forward.
