Meena RD is an award-winning author whose memoir, “Path to Rebirth: Fight. Survive. Repeat.,” stands as a bold testament to transformation, healing, and perseverance. Her story is one of resilience, finding light in the darkest of moments, and proving that the human spirit is capable of extraordinary strength. In recognition of her impact and storytelling, she was a Finalist for “Author of the Year” at the Influencer Magazine Awards 2025.

Her connection to writing began early, when she transformed spelling assignments into short stories as a child. What started as playful creativity soon became a lifelong passion. Journaling and poetry provided solace during difficult times, eventually shaping her life into one that inspires others. Today, her work reflects both personal healing and a commitment to sparking conversations that matter.

Beyond the page, Meena is a passionate advocate for autism awareness and acceptance, guided by her journey as an autism mom. She openly uses her voice to amplify understanding and compassion, ensuring that her experiences are not only personal but also purposeful. Through her writing, advocacy, and speaking engagements, Meena has created a body of work that resonates deeply with those facing adversity.

“My story symbolizes victory—not because life is easy, but because no matter how hard it gets, there is always a way forward.”

What kind of projects do you focus on, and what values guide your work?

Meena RD:
My projects are always centered on transformation and resilience. I believe that even in pain, there’s room for growth. My guiding values are hope, perseverance, strength, and acceptance. Whether through my memoir, magazine contributions, or interviews, I want to show people that even when life feels unpredictable, there’s always a way to rise again.

Meena’s dedication has steadily built her platform as both a writer and advocate. In February 2025, she was featured in Pretty Women Hustle Magazine, and in September 2025, her story appeared in Caribbean Collective Magazine. A major milestone came with her participation as a vendor at the 20th Annual Brooklyn Book Festival, where she stood alongside authors, publishers, and literary leaders.

Her professional life has been as dynamic as her creative one. For over two decades, she worked in law firms as a Legal Secretary/Assistant, later transitioning to client services at H&R Block. Since October 2023, she has brought her insight and skills to a podcast dedicated to autism moms, further extending her reach and impact.

Away from her professional journey, Meena embraces life’s simplest joys: time with her family, laughter with friends, and the comforting rhythms of music, especially the R&B melodies that have long been her refuge. Based in New York City with her husband and son, she continues to write, advocate, and inspire with a voice that reminds us that no struggle is without the possibility of rebirth.
