Sangeetha Menon Nominated for ‘Social Impact Champion’ at Influencer Magazine Awards 2025 (E3)

Sangeetha Menon is redefining what it means to use influence for good. A trailblazer in every sense, she proudly holds the title of Mrs. Glamour UK 2025, making history as the first South Asian woman over 40 to win a national title in 80 years of British pageantry. Her nomination for the Social Impact Champion Award at the Influencer Magazine Awards 2025 recognises her unwavering commitment to social change, diversity and grassroots empowerment.

Beyond the glamour of crowns and catwalks, Sangeetha has strategically harnessed her platform to raise awareness and drive action around some of the most urgent social issues. As the Ambassador for Bromley Borough Food Bank, part of the Trussell Trust UK network, she led the Bank the Food app campaign and the Guarantee Essentials initiative. Together, these campaigns reached close to 75,000 people across Instagram, Facebook, and local WhatsApp groups in Southeast London, significantly improving community awareness and increasing high- impact donations aligned with real-time needs.

Her reach extends into healthcare and global aid. Through her Toy Donation Drive for Princess Royal University Hospital, she delivered comforting gifts to children receiving care. Her

Sunshine Box project has collected and shipped nearly 100 kilograms of pre-loved clothing, toys and books to orphanages overseas, offering renewed hope and connection through compassion.

Since stepping into the world of pageantry in April 2024, Sangeetha has raised and contributed over £8,000 in support of more than 10 charitable organisations, including The Christie Charity, Dogs Trust, YoungMinds, and A Sisterhood. Her fundraising efforts are deeply intentional and designed to create lasting, measurable change.

She is the founder of Unstoppable Me, a campaign dedicated to confronting harmful stereotypes around age, appearance and self-worth. Through hands-on workshops, school- based activities and self-image storytelling, she empowers individuals of all ages to celebrate their uniqueness and challenge socially ingrained narratives. Her work continues to encourage open dialogue around body confidence, inclusion, and inner strength.

Her passion for inclusive fashion is equally powerful. As a Royal Revlon Sponsored royal member of FashionPRFirm, she promotes ethical fashion and diverse beauty standards. In recognition of her commitment to diversity and meaningful representation, she has been invited by Runway Republic to walk at Paris Fashion Week in October 2025. This milestone will not only celebrate her presence on a global platform but will also shine a light on representation and inclusion in the fashion world.

Professionally, Sangeetha serves as a Digital Learning Strategist at the United Kingdom’s largest animal welfare charity, Dogs Trust. She leads a national digital transformation project focused on volunteer development, combining her leadership and technical expertise to create accessible, inclusive and scalable learning opportunities across the organisation.

Looking ahead, her vision is clear. Sangeetha is committed to increasing the visibility and representation of South Asian women in pageantry, fashion and media. She believes that the future must be shaped by diverse voices and authentic storytelling, where every woman sees herself reflected with pride and power.

From food banks and hospitals to international fashion runways and community advocacy, Sangeetha Menon continues to lead with compassion, purpose and unwavering resolve. Her journey exemplifies how influence, when rooted in service can truly transform lives.
