From Long Covid to Long-Term Healing: How Rowan Bradley Founded ELIXER to Help Others Fight Back

After being sidelined by long Covid in 2021 and later diagnosed with ME/Fibromyalgia, Colchester-born entrepreneur, music producer, and former TV host Rowan Bradley found himself facing more than just illness. He faced a broken health system, long waiting lists, and few real solutions for chronic pain, fatigue, and an ever-growing list of life-altering symptoms.

Before the virus turned his world upside down, Bradley’s life had been a whirlwind of creativity and success. As a music producer, he built his own recording studio, performed internationally, and even hosted television shows, including the Miss World pageant. By 28, he had earned his first top 100 chart hit and secured a Beatport Top 20 placement, with millions of streams under various aliases.

“When long Covid hit, it wasn’t just my career that stopped, it was my entire life,” Bradley recalls. “There were days I couldn’t even walk downstairs or hold a conversation, let alone remember my own phone number. This lasted for years.”

Frustrated by the lack of treatment options and overwhelmed by the flood of misinformation in the wellness industry, Bradley turned his focus to researching alternatives and connecting with a growing online community of chronic illness sufferers. What began as a personal quest for relief soon became the foundation for ELIXER, a UK-based wellness brand dedicated to creating ethical, effective products for people living with chronic conditions who are so often overlooked by conventional medicine.

“I don’t want to be a victim anymore, even though I am,” says Bradley. “I want to fight and share what’s helped me with other people suffering.”

ELIXER’s growing product range includes organic CBD oils, maximum recovery pain relief creams, cell energy boosters, anti-aging supplements, sleep aids, and brain and immune health support, with plans to expand into other areas in the near future. Every product is made in the UK, third-party tested, and crafted without fillers or additives, inspired by Bradley’s own frustration with the unreliable and often unsafe products saturating the market.

“I’m sick of the scams and misinformation out there,” Bradley says. “It’s time for me to do the best I can, not just for myself but for others who feel like they’ve been forgotten. I’m a lot better today because I took matters into my own hands, but I had to be a victim of medical scams and fake products to learn and create this concept.”

And despite the press once declaring his career over, Bradley proved them wrong last year when he returned to the creative world as the editor of Kaur on Netflix, a powerful reminder of his resilience both in business and personal recovery.

ELIXER wasn’t born in a boardroom, but through real experience. Bradley hopes it will offer others not just relief, but a sense of empowerment.
