Machine Head have officially announced their 11th studio album, UNATØNED, along with the release of their new single, UNBØUND. After hinting at a possible April launch, the band confirmed that the full album will drop on April 25, 2025, via Nuclear Blast Records.

This new album promises to be a sharp, refined offering from the band, as they’re described to be sounding “honed to its sharpest edge, forged on creative discipline and the hunger to push forward.” With a blend of new energy and a commitment to musical evolution, UNATØNED reflects their ongoing journey.

Crafted by the group’s lead singer Robb Flynn and co-engineered and co-produced by Zack Ohren, the album was made amidst rigorous touring. Songwriting occurred during the time when the band toured, with the recording happening from July 2023 through to December of that year. Such an unusual way of working towards an album puts a unique character into the sound that is made available through the album’s inaugural single, UNBØUND.
