Ryan Reynolds made waves recently when his presence during Hugh Jackman’s From New York With Love residency had fans talking.
On Friday night, the Deadpool star, 48, attended the opening night of Jackman’s 24-date show in New York. While the event itself was a celebration of talents by Jackman, it was Reynolds’ turn in the show that has been causing the ruckus.
Dressed in a beige shirt, the actor’s noticeably different look, including what appeared to be a spray tan, led to speculation among fans. Many took to social media, expressing concern over his appearance, with some suggesting he looked “unwell.”
Adding to the mystery, Reynolds and his wife are embroiled in an ongoing lawsuit with It Ends With Us actor and producer Justin Baldoni. This open legal battle only fueled more interest in Reynolds’ state.
The actor took the mic to give words of appreciation for Jackman as if he’s drawing from their ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ banter. There was a mutual exchange of jokes, but Reynolds’ body language was what many fans were observing.

Despite all the rumors, Jackman acted as usual, thanking Reynolds during the celebration held at Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan. “I love you, Ryan Reynolds, I love you, man. Thanks for coming. And thanks for asking for a free ticket, too.
While Reynolds hasn’t said anything about the online buzz, his attendance at the event and the warm greeting from Jackman reiterate that the two remain great friends. Whether or not the fan issues are legitimate or just another social media overthinking case is still to be determined.
