Diddy Accused of Dangling Woman from 17th-Floor Balcony in New Allegations

Fashion designer Bryana “Bana” Bongolan has filed a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging a harrowing incident in which she claims he dangled her from the 17th-floor balcony of an apartment in Los Angeles in 2016. Court documents said the alleged event happened at Diddy’s then-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura’s residence.

This lawsuit is part of a long list of legal challenges Diddy faces; he is currently facing over two dozen lawsuits, including accusations of sexual assault, witness intimidation, physical harm, and drugging people. He is also charged with federal charges related to racketeering and sex trafficking. Diddy has always denied all claims, including the latest one filed by Ms. Bongolan.

A representative for the music mogul dismissed the accusations in a statement shared with the BBC, asserting that Diddy “firmly denies these serious allegations” and is “confident they will ultimately be proven baseless.”

Details of the Alleged Incident

According to Ms. Bongolan’s lawsuit, she was staying at Ms. Ventura’s apartment when Diddy arrived, allegedly shouting and banging on the door. Once inside, he is accused of approaching Ms. Bongolan, who was on the balcony at the time, grabbing her, and molesting her before lifting her and dangling her over the edge.

The lawsuit stated that Ms. Bongolan, who weighed about 100 pounds, struggled desperately to avoid being thrown into the ground below. According to the lawsuit, Diddy overpowering her was easy.

Ms. Ventura, according to reports, dragged Ms. Bongolan backward into the building from over the edge, but the lawsuit avers Diddy did so slamming her onto patio furniture and she was left physically and emotionally shaken.

Representatives of Diddy have strongly denied the accusations saying, “Anyone has the right to file a lawsuit, regardless of the evidence they may or may not have.” They emphasized that Diddy has “unwavering faith in the facts and in the fairness of the judicial process,” having the confidence that the accusations will be proved wrong in court.

Ms. Bongolan is claiming $10 million in damages, alleging that this was the culmination of a series of threats, intimidation, and violence she suffered at the hands of Diddy. She alleged a pattern of “terror and abuse” throughout their professional relationship, which began when Diddy approached her to collaborate on projects, including clothing lines and album cover designs.

The lawsuit also claims that Ms. Bongolan was unaware of what caused the incident but stresses its severity as part of a broader history of alleged misconduct by Diddy.

The allegations against Ms. Bongolan share a lot of similarities with another case filed by Ms. Ventura in 2023 where she accused Diddy of abuse, rape, and sex trafficking. According to her, Diddy once took one of her friends from the ground and hung them out of a balcony when things were hot between them. Ms. Ventura’s lawsuit was settled the very day it was filed.

The similarities between these cases have brought greater attention and spotlight to Diddy, with several people forward with allegations of bad behavior from personal life to the professional field.

Diddy is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, after failing to get bail for the third time. His representatives maintain that the mounting allegations against him are without merit, insisting that the truth will come to light in court.

This all unfolded in cases against Diddy as there had been a lot of media hype from the cases, which several people are waiting for verdicts. The case also has led to other big conversations on power plays and more on the entertainment world’s high-profile figures to stand ethically.

While the truth of these allegations is yet to be determined, the lawsuits keep casting a shadow on Diddy’s bright career and legacy.
