A lucky UK ticket-holder has claimed the third-largest National Lottery prize ever, winning a staggering £177 million in the EuroMillions draw.

The winning numbers were 07, 11, 25, 31, and 40, with Lucky Stars 09 and 12.

This incredible win places the anonymous winner behind only two other record-breaking jackpots: the £195 million won by an anonymous ticket-holder in July 2022 and the £184.3 million claimed by a couple from Gloucester in May 2022.

As of now, the lucky winner has yet to come forward. Lottery officials are urging players to check their tickets promptly.
