According to sources, Margot Robbie has given birth to her first child. The Wolf of Wall Street and Barbie star has given birth to a baby boy, according to reports. A close friend of the couple, Robbie and her husband, producer Tom Ackerley, said everything was fine with the early delivery.
In keeping with this, the Mail on Sunday reported that Robbie delivered about two weeks ago after a source said, “all is well.” Since then, the couple made no official announcement regarding its birth, and they privately kept the baby’s name.
Robbie’s pregnancy was first sighted back in July as she visited Wimbledon. Dressed casually in a polka-dot dress and sporting sunglasses, she still found a subtle way to flash her baby bump, leaving fans and the media on cloud nine.
Robbie met Ackerley on the set of Suite Française, a romantic World War II film made in Belgium in 2013. Robbie, a young actress then, met Ackerley when he assisted the film, only the next year after that, they started partnering on a professional level and founded LuckyChap Entertainment, the production company behind hits Birds of Prey and Barbie, with Robbie leading both.
A reclusive couple in their affair, the couple had many secrets kept out of the spotlight. In fact, even their engagement went unnoticed until they later secretly wed at Byron Bay, Australia. She once jokingly revealed an unexpected affair in a 2016 Vogue interview that he is “the best-looking guy in London.”
Reflecting on her relationship, she says she was the ‘ultimate single gal’ before she met Ackerley and admits the idea of a relationship made her sick to her stomach at the time. “The idea of relationships made me want to vomit,” she shared. “And then this crept up on me. We were friends for so long.”. I was in love with him always. And then she said, “But I thought, ‘Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him.’ And then it happened, and I was like, ‘Of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.’
In earlier interviews, Robbie has complained about the questions she receives about her plan for motherhood. Last year, she claimed that it would make her really angry when older interviewers made intruding queries into questions. “It made me really angry; how dare some old guy dictate what I can and can’t do when it comes to motherhood or my own body?” she said, stating that she would make sure to remain in control over what she would do.
The couple appears committed to the tradition of keeping themselves out of the limelight. Official news, whenever that may be, would be directly from them and would only be heard from their fans if they want to share it.
