British music icon Adele will headline her final Las Vegas residency tonight, November 23, 2024, at Caesars Palace. Considering the grueling schedule and emotional demands of her performances, the 36-year-old artist said she feels drained both “emotionally” and “physically.”
In a recent show, Adele openly revealed to her fans exactly how it has been affecting her and the amount of pressure that is mounting with each passing show. Apart from her Las Vegas residency, she had also finished an 10-night run in Munich earlier this year.
Doing four hours a weekend of completely live singing is a lot. And I chat a lot, and I’m very, very sensitive and I’m emotional,” she admitted. Adele also admitted that from Sunday to Thursday every week, she has been on “full recovery” ahead of her shows. But after months of struggling, she is ready to take a step back and re-center herself. Speaking to her fans, she said that she was now ready to move on and quipped that it’s finally time to “say goodbye—rather than sing Hello.
