Taylor Swift Announces Exclusive Eras Tour Book and Album on November 29th

Pop sensation Taylor Swift has once again sent fans running around with an exciting news-an all-new book full of unreleased photographs captured during her record-breaking Eras tour. The book will feature rehearsal photos and personal thoughts from the singer in self-description of irreplaceable moments from one of the most glittering tours of her lifetime.

She made the announcement during a visit to Good Morning America on Tuesday, October 15; she also revealed that, for the first time, The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology will be available on vinyl and CD. Only at Target in the U.S., the new versions give listening to Swift’s music a whole new perspective.

“We’re kicking off the final leg of The Eras Tour this week, which is hard to wrap your head around, Swift said in an Instagram post addressed to fans 34 or older. She continued, “This tour has been the most wondrous experience, and I knew I wanted to commemorate the memories we made together in a special way. Well, two ways actually.”

This tome clocks in at 239 pages, and the price for it is $39.99 (£30.57). Over 500 images will make an appearance in it, some of which will be previously unpublished, and will be drawn from each era of Swift’s ongoing tour. Fans could expect peeks into every iconic chapter from Fearless to Midnights. The book has been called “the official retrospective” of her tour that Swift has termed “the most wondrous tour of my life.”.

In addition to the spectacular photography, images of the instruments, set designs, sketches, and costumes fill the book that defined the tour’s visual and artistic style. Handwritten reflections throughout the book shed insight into Swift’s personal experiences performing to sold-out crowds in stadiums across the globe.

Here’s the official retrospective of the most wondrous tour of my life, my beloved Eras Tour,” Swift shared in another statement. “Thanks to the fans who came to this show. You made The Eras Tour what it became.”.

To coincide with the release of her book, Swift will bring out a new version of The Tortured Poets Department on Black Friday for $59.99 (£45.87). The CD features 35 songs and includes four acoustic bonus tracks and an unreleased poster of the singer. It will also be available in Target, allowing fans of the gifted singer to collect a souvenir tied to this historic tour.

Swift already had several editions of TTPD, which originally dropped on April 19. The new releases included limited-edition vinyls with original artwork and bonus tracks to try to meet the requirement for physical versions of her albums, which collectors love.

The final leg in Europe of Swift’s Eras Tour ended in August with her eighth and final London appearance, performing at Wembley Stadium. Throughout the evening, Swift really brought good things to an end with unexpected special guest appearances from Florence and the Machine and longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff.

Perhaps the standout moment of the night was the duet with Florence Welch on “Florida,” a duet from The Tortured Poets Department, which made the song debut live. She also surprised the audience with acoustic versions of 2019’s “Death by a Thousand Cuts,” and 2017’s “Getaway Car,” which were co-written with Antonoff.

Swift was concluding the European leg of her extremely successful tour, but she will remain in close communication with fans as preparation begins for the U.S. release of her book and album: for friends never get too much exposure to the domains of The Eras Tour.

However, Swift has also been making waves outside of her music. Last month, the singer endorsed Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz. In an Instagram post made after the presidential debate, Swift expressed support for Harris, stating that she “fights for the rights and causes I believe in.”

Nary a surprise, then, that former President Donald Trump was responding pretty explosively to Taylor Swift’s endorsement, declaring on Truth Social: “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,” in an all-caps post.

As Swift dominates both the music world and political conversations, legacy books and albums prove this new release gives her the credentials to be at peace with the career built so far. Fans can look forward to reliving the highlights of her career while anticipating what the pop star will do next.
